Spare parts

It has been a long time between posts; but this is so cool. I love to read everyone else's blog so I am going to repent and add more posts.

The love of my life has just started receiving spare body parts. The first is a full right hip made of titanium and some other precious metals. Lynn had the hip replacement Friday the 19th of December in the Mountain View Hospital in Payson Utah. Lynn will probably go home tomorrow = Monday. He has made great strides in 2 days according to the Physical Therapists. But you have to understand the majority of patients are 10 to 25 years older than him so he should learn to walk pretty fast. We had great company -- we watched the Pioneer bowl on the big plasma TV in the Physical Therapy room of the hospital. The staff were very accomodating of our "family tailgate party" providing the popcorn and soda pop. And letting us cheer for the loosing team BYU against Arizona. Angela and Chad brought Pizza and Lonny, Amy and Connor brought See's chocolate for dessert.

He was finally released from the hospital about 30 hours later than was expected due to complications that put him the ICU for 2 days. He's doing great now and learning to walk again. Here's a gory picture of Lynn laying on the bed after a few days.
